Ya’ll Get a look at this Record New Zealand Gobbler…….
Well I have a update from New Zealand. After taking our stags and some rams and other things, we decided to chase turkeys!! Little did we know it would end up with the new South Pacific pending World Record turkey!! A young man names Logan from Wyoming was here hunting and I videoed him archery kill this 5 bearded (37 1/4" total bead inches" white turkey. They have Merriam's and several of these all white birds we have found, but we never realized it had 5 beards....looking at SCI it shatters the current record y over 60" He had 1 1/4" and 1 1/8" hooks. Pretty cool...catching a plane today and will be back chasing easterns this week!!! |
