Turkey Porn
Warms the soul.......
So I heard my First Gobble this morning.. On my drive in to work, feasting on a bowl of Oatmeal, I see them. My Flock that hangs out on the side of Highway 444... MOST of them are down in the lower end of the field, Strutters everywhere.... I slam on brakes, start digging for my Polaroid, and roll down the window... along with being slammed with the 19 degree chill, I am bombarded with the sweet sound of Gobblin Thunder. The ole boys are excited! We got 8" of Fresh Snow on Wednesday... so these thunder chickens are having to work a little harder for some grub, but the ole boys are in the mood for love... there were 2 more walking down the edge of the woods coming to join the party and about 6 more up on top of the hill. I think I'll have to pay a visit to this farmer for sure.... Hope he would like a new Pellet gun as a gift!
Only 5 weeks to NY OPENER.. only 3 til I'm in Texas....

The Season has Started!
turkeys. So we figured we better get to kill'n ourselves. We formed a plan
and put together alittle "work" meeting in the south. Needless to say it was
an adventure. I lucked out a found one the first morning that wanted to
commit suicide and ran to the front of my barrel and was done by 6:58 am in
Ala. Rob on the other hand, They weren't cooperating too much with him the
first day. They did go for a wonderful joy ride in the Bad Boy until Rob's
cab driver tried to ride through the creek and over the beaver dam. They
made that part until they buried it in a foot deep of mud on the other side.
We had to come to the rescue and winch them out. We felt bad so we gave them
our nice clean BBB and went and washed theirs.
The next day Rob found 2 lonesome bachelors that he was able to sweet talk
into range.
We had a great start to the season. Can't wait for the next trip. It can't
come quick enough.
Just wanted to say congrats to everyone who has had success so far and Good
Luck to the rest of you for the season.

Osceola Report from Ninja Hart
I had a longbeard big boy walk to the decoys to my left at 20 yards and this ol' bird was strutting and gobbling to my right. We had a dirty sounding hen in front of us at 20 yards that gave out some dirty talk and this ol' boy like it so much he gave us a couple loud gobbles. I told William I was going to shoot the bird in the decoys when after he raised his fan for the decoys. William said "the bird on the left is in range and so is the bird to your right but he is bigger". I didn't want to shoot left handed (as I've missed three doing so) but I took my time and let the 11-87 bark at 7:34 pm.
22lbs (fat boy) l0.5" thick beard, super black wings and the longest spur was 1 9/16"
First time I tagged out in FL, first bird I shot a bird with an 11-87 and first bird I killed left handed. William's 11-87 dropped him at 46 yards. Osceola #9 in the books and it was a damn memorable one.

Beyond Duplication..
Birthed in LAWRENCEburg, KY. Who'da thought that hydration from corn could carry a fella so far... Indians called it fire water. Hell, I got lots of names for it. Hard to beat a swallow at first light right before he's said anything or even shuffled around on the limb... It's basically communion without being in church.
It's a bottle of hope.
"Beyond Duplication...."
See attached.
